30-year-old Soldier Adam Wilder was seen speeding in a white pick-up truck outside the Tippers parking lot on March 17th. Officers also observed Wilder leave his designated lane twice, leading to them pulling Wilder over at the Speedway gas station on Tiny Town Road. Once officers came into contact with Wilder, they noticed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. When Wilder was asked if he consumed any alcohol, he said that he didn’t have any. However, when officers questioned him about the smell of alcohol, he stated that he no longer wanted to talk to them. Wilder consented to sobriety tests, and after performing poorly on one, he told officers, “Just take me to jail!” Adam Wilder was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence on March 18th.
Adam Wesley Wilder of McAuliffe Loop in Fort Campbell, KY, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 18th, charged with DUI and implied consent. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
