43-year-old was seen speeding on Dover Road on May 27th. Law enforcement confirmed that Clark was traveling at 69mph in a 45mph zone. When officers made contact with Clark, they reported the smell of alcohol coming from him as well as other signs of intoxication. When Clark was asked if he had anything to drink, he admitted that he was coming from Mr. Billy’s Bar and had had one drink before driving. Clark agreed to sobriety tests, but he performed poorly on them. Billy Clark was then taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
Billy Branson Clark of Garden East Road in Dover, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 27th. charged with DUI and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
