Arthur Brown charged with shooting up ex-girlfriend’s car

43-year-old Arthur Brown was jailed on July 8th after allegedly shooting up his ex-girlfriend’s car while she had her child with her. Reshonda Tyler reported that Brown ran into the street on Harvest Ridge and fired shots at her vehicle as she drove by. When officers arrived, they saw her on the corner talking to a man, but she left as they approached. Ms. Tyler initially stated that she was visiting a friend nearby but later stated that she was “just in the area.”

The man she was talking to on the corner told police that she asked if he wanted to help her “slash some tires,” and then she left for about 20 minutes before returning to speak with him again. Police arrived at Mr. Brown’s house and found 9mm shell casings next to his vehicle. He told police that he hadn’t seen Ms. Tyler that night and didn’t own a 9mm handgun. He told the police that someone had slashed his tires the day prior and showed them the deflated tire in his truck and the spare on his vehicle.

Mr. Brown lives with his father on Harvest Ridge. His father stated that he owns a 9mm gun but doesn’t know where it is in the house. He finally found a box containing a gun of the same make, caliber, and serial number. He then showed officers doorbell camera footage that revealed Mr. Brown repeatedly getting up and running into the street holding a gun earlier that night.
