A state health inspector says the food service permit for Yada on Franklin is in danger of being revoked and has issued a warning letter and scheduled a revocation intervention meeting with stakeholders. During a routine inspection on Tuesday, it was noted the troubled downtown venue had third-consecutive violations on some categories, including three-week-old sauces and expired tomato soup — of which a combined twenty pounds was embargoed from public consumption. For the second consecutive inspection, Yada also had a contaminated surface violation, specifically a live insect crawling on ready-to-use lids and no chlorine in the dish machine.
