23-year-old Alex Pursley was charged after reportedly grabbing his girlfriend’s throat during an argument about her being taken off the lease after their relationship ended. On Mar 1st, Pursley’s girlfriend, Makayla Metcalf, was gathering her belongings on Memorial Dr. after their breakup two weeks ago. She stated that Pursley grabbed her around her throat during an argument about her being taken off the lease. She did not wish to remain on the lease because she didn’t want to be responsible for any damages Pursley made to the property.
Alex James Pursley of Memorial Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 2nd, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
