DUI: Soldier Daniel Stringer crashes his Charger into tree line after “two beers”

Officers on Hwy 76 observed a Dodge Charger driven by 25-year-old Fort Campell Soldier Daniel Stringer crash at 3:49 a.m. on March 26. Stringer attempted to make a right turn onto Old Farmer’s Road while traveling at a high rate of speed and went off-road, eventually crashing into the tree line. Stringer stated he had “two beers” in the hour prior to driving and had trouble standing on his own. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking after a stop at Sango ER for a blood draw. Stringer was unable to provide any proof of insurance on the Charger.

Daniel Robert Stringer of Monroe St in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 26th, charged with driving under the influence and no insurance. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
