32-year-old Verona Sipili is charged with domestic assault after an altercation with her husband on March 27. Claudius Maybir says the couple had an argument about their living situation when she began to punch him and tried to slap his phone away from him while holding a kitchen knife by her side. He says he was placed in fear for his life by her demeanor and “assaultive behavior.”
Verona Victoria Sipili of Cobalt Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 28th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,500.
