22-year-old Jaden Cook called 911 while he was driving on 101st Airborne Division Parkway near the W Fork Bridge just after 5 a.m. on May 14. As officers responded to the area for a welfare check, the dispatcher convinced him to pull onto the shoulder of the road and stop the vehicle. Officers made contact with Cook, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and “disorganized in his thoughts.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.
Jaen Emmanuel Cook of Atwood Rd in Winston Salem, NC, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 14th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,500.
