73-year-old Harold Harris was jailed on July 1st after being pulled over on Ashland City Road when police observed him swerving in his 2009 Nissan Altima. Police asked him why he was driving that way, and he explained that he was following someone, but he couldn’t explain the reason. Police observed Harris to have poor motor functions, slow, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol coming off his body. He admitted to having two drinks no more than an hour prior and performed poorly on sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.
Harold Hill Harris of Moss Bennett Road in Ashland City, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 1st, charged with failure to maintain lane of travel and driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
