Harold Harris charged with DUI on Ashland City Road

73-year-old Harold Harris was jailed on July 1st after being pulled over on Ashland City Road when police observed him swerving in his 2009 Nissan Altima. Police asked him why he was driving that way, and he explained that he was following someone, but he couldn’t explain the reason. Police observed Harris to have poor motor functions, slow, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol coming off his body. He admitted to having two drinks no more than an hour prior and performed poorly on sobriety tests. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.

Brayden Williams charged with underage DUI after 8 a.m. crash

19-year-old Brayden Michael Williams crashed at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph & Dunbar Cave Road just before 8 a.m. Saturday, and disclosed to responding officers he had consumed alcohol “the night before.” Officers noticed that the vehicle had seemingly fresh and significant damage to the front passenger side that was unrelated to the current crash, which Willaims claimed to have no knowledge of. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with underage DUI.

James Potter charged with underage DWI after rolling his friend’s car #Prom

18-year-old James Potter was charged with underage driving while impaired Saturday night after he was driving his friend’s car, and it rolled over and crashed into a guardrail while he was picking his friend, Austin Beck, up from prom. Potter told police he lost control due to a “mechanical problem,” however Officer Nolan with CPD says Potter reeked of alcohol. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. After a stop for a blood draw at Tennova, he was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
