33-year-old military contractor Chelsea Obrien was booked on July 23rd when a Tennessee State Trooper observed a Blue Dodge speeding down Fort Campbell Boulevard, going 53 mph in a 45 mph zone, failing to stay in their lane of travel. When the trooper made contact with Ms. Obrien, he noticed her watery eyes and the odor of alcohol emitting from her body. She slurred as she told the trooper that she had one glass of wine. Ms. Obrien agreed to conduct sobriety tests but performed poorly and was asked to provide a breath sample that came back .116% BAC on the breathalyzer. A Smith and Wesson gun was later discovered in the center console.
Chelsea Lauren Obrien of Polly Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 23rd, charged with driving under the influence and possession of a handgun while under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $4,000.
