25-year-old Lakirah Buford was jailed on August 30th after her boyfriend, Christopher Williams, reported she assaulted him. According to Williams, the two have been going through some hard times in their relationship, and he reached out to his sister about it. Buford saw the conversation between Williams and his sister and became angry. Williams then asked Buford to leave and started grabbing her belongings for her. Buford became angry, swung, and hit Williams in the face. Police observed a small abrasion on his chin where he was hit. Buford admitted to hitting Williams and was placed into custody.
Lakirah Najae Buford of Forest Pointe Place in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 30th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $500.
