Soldier Felipe Garcia charged with DUI after running red light

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Felipe Garcia ran a red light at the intersection of Lafayette Rd. and Ft. Campbell Blvd in the early morning hours of September 29th. Officers initiated a traffic stop after witnessing the silver Chevrolet Silverado stop in the middle of the intersection, running the red light. Garcia was visibly intoxicated when officers approached the driver’s side and admitted to drinking when asked. Garcia was arrested for driving under the influence and failing to obey traffic control devices after consenting to sobriety tests and performing poorly.

Felipe Garcia of Hidden Springs Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on September 29th, charged with driving under the influence and failure to yield or stop. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
