Soldier Maruh Massaquoi jailed on felony charge of lying to police

23-year-old Maruh Massaquoi was booked on October 16th after lying to police about his passengers during a traffic stop for dark tint on Tiny Town Road. When stopped on September 18th, officers noticed that there were passengers in the car who advised they were juveniles attempting to get a ride to their parents’ home. However, during the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the “juvenile” passengers were actually adults attempting to avoid their outstanding warrants for aggravated robbery. During the traffic stop, Massaquoi told police the passengers were juveniles, knowing they were adults.

Maruh Peka Massaquoi of Screaming Eagle Blvd in Fort Campbell, KY, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 16th, charged with false report to an officer. He is free on a $5,000 bond.
