22-year-old Corteeves Rivers was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Dekayshe Sanders, at the apartments on Verkler Drive on February 10th. Officers made contact with Sanders, who was shaking and heavily crying. She explained that Rivers took her phone, but when she asked for it back to call 911, he told her she could call them when he left. Sanders locked herself in her room, but Rivers broke the door down and pushed her down on her bed. Sanders pushed him off of her and ran out of the front door. However, Rivers was behind her and shut the door on her arm. Corteeves Rivers was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and interfering with emergency calls.
Corteeves Cartrell Rivers of Verkler Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 11th, charged with domestic assault and interfering with emergency call. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
