41-year-old Jaclyn Simpson was caught attempting to cash in worthless checks on August 21st. Simpson deposited a check worth $588.90 online and then, the next day, deposited the original check for $588.90. A letter was sent to Simpson asking for $1197.80, including a $20 return fee. Jaclyn Simpson was taken into custody and charged with fraud.
Jaclyn Raquel Simpson of Fox Trail Court in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 14th, charged with fraud. A judicial commissioner set her bond $2,500.
