DUI: Gregory Gafney crashes Jeep on Fort Campbell Boulevard after running red light

34-year-old Gregory Monkale Gafney failed to brake and caused a collision at the stoplight near Fort Campbell Boulevard and Purple Heart Parkway in the early hours of March 24th. Before the crash, officers observed him swerving over the right travel lane and the fog line as he approached the red light. They approached his silver Jeep and noticed he showed multiple signs of inebriation and reeked of alcohol. Upon request, he consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and then agreed to provide a blood sample after being informed of implied consent. Gafney was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Gregory Monkale Gafney of Caledonia Street in Paris, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 24th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $4,000.
