30-year-old Deborah Neely was involved in an assault at the CTS Bus stop at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Old Trenton Road on March 22nd. Officers Darrius Robinson and Brent Read made contact with Neely. As both officers spoke to Neely, she made a comment to Read, telling him that she was going to slit his throat as she put a sharp object in a nearby bag. While Officer Read was searching Neely, she headbutted him in the face. Officers attempted to place Neely inside a patrol car, but while doing so, she spit on Sgt Hurt. Deborah Neely was transported to booking, where she was charged with two counts of assault against 1st responder.
Deborah Lakeysha Neely of Westfield Court in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 22nd, charged with assault against 1st responder. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $30,000.
