25-year-old Benjamin Lloyd Bane was involved in a scuffle at Wal-Mart on November 1. Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart about a man and a woman fighting in the parking lot. Officers spotted Bane, and he matched a description of the male given to officers. Bane began to walk away when officers approached him to speak about the incident, placing his hands in his pockets and refusing orders. Officers advised Bane he was being detained, and he continued to resist, so they had to take him to the ground to arrest him. Bane. After being handcuffed, he refused to walk to the patrol car. Instead, he began to scream and yell profanities at officers, causing a scene in the Wal-Mart. Bane was taken into custody for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Benjamin Lloyd Bane of Old Clarksville Springfield Rd in Adams, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on November 1st, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
