47-year-old Carlos Rivera was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Alexandra Rivera, at Oak Creek Drive on December 8th. The conflict began with Carlos attempting to take Alexandra’s phone from her. During the struggle, he pushed her to the ground, injuring her arm. Carlos then grabbed both of her wrists and began pulling them behind her back to restrict her movement but released her when she screamed that she had already called 911. Upon contacting Carlos, he told law enforcement that the dispute over the phone happened, but he stated that Alexandra threw herself to the ground in an attempt to prevent him from getting her phone. Carlos Rivera was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Carlos Javier Rivera of Oak Creek Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on December 8th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
