DUI: Idaho Tourist Adam Clymer drives without license, tells police he couldn’t “pass the vision test”

39-year-old Idaho Tourist Adam Clymer was seen pulling into a no-parking zone at Interstate 24 on March 5th. Officers made contact with Clymer, who seemed like he was under the influence of a controlled substance. Clymer’s 4-year-old son was in the backseat, and his mother was in the passenger seat. Clymer appeared to have prominent resting nystagmus. When officers asked Clymer why he didn’t have a driver’s license, he told them he could not “pass the vision test.” Clymer consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Once Clymer thought that he was going to jail, he informed officers that his mother was disabled and unable to drive or take care of herself without him. Officers later discovered via NCIC that Clymer has multiple charges in Florida, including four driving on suspended license charges and seven driving without a license charges. Adam Clymer was taken into custody and charged with child endangerment, driving under the influence, driving without a license, parking in a handicapped spot, and reckless endangerment.
