37-year-old Gene Bell was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Johnson, at her Grand View apartment on March 6th. Officers arrived at Johnson’s apartment and came into contact with her. Johnson told officers that Bell had come over to eat dinner. Johnson stated that after Bell got drunk, he started accusing her of cheating on him. Bell cornered her in the kitchen and grabbed her arms to prevent her from leaving. Johnson stated that this put her in fear for her safety, which prompted her to call 911. Gene Bell was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Gene Macarthur Bell of South Lancaster Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 7th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $500.
