20-year-old Nafis Carter, employee of Valvoline, was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Tyla Wilkins, at the Cobblestone Apartments on March 19th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and contacted Wilkins, who informed them she had an argument with Carter. Wilkins advised that she was lying on their bedroom floor during the argument. Wilkins stated that Carter came in and dragged her out of the room. Carter then went back into the bedroom and slammed the door. Nafis Carter was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Nafis Marion Carter of Whitfield Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 19th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $500.
