23-year-old Alex John Albino-Prutko crashed into another vehicle on I-24 with his friend Jaron Fraizer in the passenger seat. They were out of the vehicle when first responders arrived, and Alex walked an officer to the crashed vehicle, which had tags expired from June. Jaron explained they were coming back from a party in Nashville but wasn’t sure how the crash happened as he was asleep while Alex drove. Alex admitted to drinking prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Witnesses to the crash say he was speeding in the left lane when he rear-ended the other involved vehicle, causing the crash, which spun his vehicle out of control as it went off the roadway and impacted a tree.
