DUI: Jonathan Love consumed vodka and “ZAZA RED” pills before driving

34-year-old Jonathan Love was pulled over during a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard for swerving lanes and driving at inconsistent speeds. Officer Malone made contact with Love, who admitted that he had drunk alcohol “earlier in the day.” Love later consented to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, on which he performed terribly, and was taken into custody for a blood sample, which he also agreed to. When officers searched Love’s vehicle, they found an empty vodka bottle on the passenger side along with numerous empty pill bottles labeled as “ZAZA RED.” Per Vanderbilt University, Tianeptine, an antidepressant drug banned in Tennessee, is the primary ingredient in “ZAZA RED.” Love was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
