Jasmine Ellis “aggressively attacks” mother during confrontation over narcotics

27-year-old Jasmine Ellis was involved in an altercation with her mother, Kerry Ellis, at their Donna Drive residence on April 21st. Kerry contacted law enforcement, stating that she and Jasmine got into a fight. Kerry told officers that she confronted Jasmine about her suspicions of using narcotics. According to Kerry, Jasmine got angry, slammed her car door, and shoulder-checked her when she walked past her. The argument continued, resulting in Jasmine punching Kerry in the face. Officers also spoke with Kerry’s boyfriend, Randewell Payne. He stated that he was in their apartment while the argument was happening. Payne told officers that as he exited the house, he saw Jasmine “aggressively attacking” Kerry. Payne then stated that he had to separate the two to stop Jasmine from continuing to attack Kerry. Jasmine Ellis was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.


Jasmine Alexis Ellis of Donna Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 21st, charged with domestic assault, simple possession, methamphetamine, and felony drug. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $21,000
