28-year-old Haley “Jenny” Gentry was driving on a suspended license when she was stopped in front of the Trap Market on Ft. Campbell Blvd Saturday. During the traffic stop, CPD Officer Logan Oakley noted he could smell the distinct odor of the devil’s lettuce emitting from her vehicle, and she replied of course he could smell it, as her friends had smoked in the vehicle earlier. Oakley then searched the Nissan Pathfind and located 4.6 grams (including the packaging) of the lovely leafy goodness and proudly charged her with possession of marijuana, even conducting a “field test” of the substance.
Haley Catherine Gentry was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 12, charged with driving on a suspended license, drug possession, and another outstanding drug warrant. She posted a $5,000 bond and was released to her 1889 Timberline Way address in Clarksville.
