28-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Collin Wheatley was slumped over the wheel of his 2019 GMC Sierra at a green light on Riverside Drive just before 3 a.m. on March 26. Officers noticed the vehicle was at the light for an extended period of time and conducted a welfare check. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and was eventually awakened by first responders. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, and charged with DUI.
Collin McPhearson Wheatley of Hilltop Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 26th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
