20-year-old Jerniqua Mitchell was charged with vandalism on Tuesday for an incident that took place on September 10th on Spicer Drive. The father of her child, MyArie Shannon, has a brother who witnessed Mitchell in his brother’s room alone around 11 pm. This wasn’t alarming to him because she had access and permission to be there without Shannon before. However, when Mitchell left the house, Shannon’s brother went into the room to check on things, and it was in complete disarray, with clothes and items scattered everywhere. He told police the only thing he was sure was taken was the Xbox One. Police spoke with Mitchell over the phone, and she confirmed that she did take it and threw it out the window at exit 24 on I-24. Shannon told police that he and Mitchell had an on-and-off relationship in the past but have been broken up for four months now.
Jerniqua Deshona Mitchell of Rockglade Run in Antioch, TN, was booked into Montgomery County Jail on March 7th, charged with vandalism. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000.
