37-year-old Michael Scott was jailed on March 21st after police conducted a traffic stop for him speeding and found drugs in his vehicle. On Providence Boulevard, police observed Scott driving 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. When officers asked for his license, he told them it was possibly suspended due to child support, and he was not able to provide proof of car insurance. When police asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, he replied that he had marijuana in the car and handed over a package of “Dutch Leaf Wrappers”. A search of the vehicle also yielded 2 bags of cocaine, totaling 8.16 grams.
Michael Anthony Scott of Glenn St in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 21st, charged with possession of cocaine, simple possession/casual exchange, no license, no insurance, and speeding. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $6,500.
