26-year-old Toussunt Trammell was watching his one-year-old niece at his grandmother’s house on the morning of March 29. The child spilled a bowl of cereal, upsetting Trammell. He reportedly smacked the child twice with excessive force, then grabbed her by both arms, picked her up, and shoved her into the couch. Trammell told police he only ‘lightly smacked’ the child, despite the grandmother being a witness to the assault.
Toussunt Keshawn Trammell of Foxfield Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 30th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
