As a former Soldier who got a DUI , I do not think it is appropriate to post every DUI on this website. It is already difficult enough to go through the processes that follow the conviction . The Soldier does not need more attention drawn to him/ her . Every case is different and I think it is disrespectful to write a story about every single Soldier that gets arrested. I understand that it is public information and this is just my opinion. However, this being a major news website for Clarksville I think it belittles the Soldiers reputation and makes the situation worse for them. When this is posted it no longer can remain between the Soldier and their unit. Now other Soldiers see it.
