21-year-old Thomas Steele was taken into custody on October 1st for public intoxication. Officer Stoesser was dispatched to N 2nd St. regarding a call for service. Steele was sitting on the ground as officers arrived and told them he had been drinking at the troubled Electric Cowboy nightclub and was walking home. Officers observed Steele to be visibly intoxicated and advised him to either get a ride home, or he would be arrested. Steele stated, “Just take me to jail.”
Thomas Mitchell Steele of Richardson St in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 1st, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $439.
