21-year-old Mar’Quan Acklin reportedly was being suspicious in his Nissan Altima on John Sevier Avenue on October 25th. Officers spoke with Acklin and noticed a marijuana-like odor emitting from the vehicle, to which he admitted to recently smoking in his car. A search of Acklin’s Altima yielded marijuana in several bags, a digital scale, an open box of clear sandwich bags, and $942.00. Acklin was found to have over 14 grams of marijuana in his vehicle. Acklin was then taken into custody for unlawful drug paraphernalia and schedule IV drug violations.
MarQuan Deantay Acklin of Ellington Terrace in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 26th, charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $35,000
