Clarksville teacher Michelle Kramer drank Jack Daniel’s straight before class

43-year-old Hazelwood Elementary teacher Michelle Kramer Holder told deputies she drank “Jack Daniel’s straight” before starting her school day on Monday, May 20, 2024. During that day, she was in charge of multiple classrooms and students throughout the day, while “heavily intoxicated,” according to multiple staff members who alerted administration. Officers say her level of intoxication was “very high,” and she was a danger to herself and others in the building. After observing the strong smell of alcohol coming from her breath, Kramer was taken into custody and charged with both public intoxication and reckless endangerment.

Michelle Lea Kramer of Oakmont Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 20th, charged with public intoxication and reckless endangerment. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,000.

    Option 1) to be connected to an area helpline,

    Option 2) to get a list of meetings in a city/zip, and

    Option 3) to listen to the Just For Today.
