Police say 46-year-old Takisha Rogers brandished her handgun at a mother and daughter in a road rage incident on I-24 on February 10. Ms. Leigh Marquez and her daughter, Savanah Williams, were driving near exit 11 when Rogers, who was driving a red car, cut them off and slammed on the brakes. As the ladies passed her, they saw Rogers brandishing a black handgun with a silver tip and pointing it at them. They called 911 and observed the car exit and park at Rossview High School. Officers located Rogers and the handgun in her vehicle. Rogers claimed she never brandished her handgun but could not explain how they positively identified it otherwise.
Takisha Lavonne Rogers of Allmon Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 10th, charged with two counts of aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $50,000.
