25-year-old Tyja Snipe was after becoming angry at people and refusing to get a ride home from Waffle House on Ft. Campbell Blvd. On Mar 4th, a security guard from the waffle house reported a “highly intoxicated female, yelling at people” in the establishment. When officers arrived, Snipe was acting very agitated, and they could smell alcohol on her. She could not arrange a ride home and insisted on walking. Because Snipe was in a public place, being unreasonably annoying and determined to take an unsafe walk home, she was placed into custody. En route to booking, Snipe stated, ” I’m not even drunk; I just smoked weed.”
Tyja Mone Snipe of S Lancaster Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into Montgomery County Jail on March 4th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $439.
