19-year-old Timothy Reed was involved in a car accident at the Marathon on Madison Street on February 29th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Reed, who admitted to consuming two shots of vodka. Reed consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. A search of Reed’s person yielded eight Gabapentin pills. Officers conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle and located two pipes with a green leafy residue. Reed was read implied consent and refused to provide a blood sample. Reed was taken into custody on February 29th.
Timothy Gene Reed of Shadyside Lane in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 29th, charged with simple possession or casual exchange, unlawful drug paraphernalia, DWI, and implied consent. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $7,500.
