DUI: 19-Year-Old Timothy Reed crashes car after 2 shots of vodka

19-year-old Timothy Reed was involved in a car accident at the Marathon on Madison Street on February 29th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Reed, who admitted to consuming two shots of vodka. Reed consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. A search of Reed’s person yielded eight Gabapentin pills. Officers conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle and located two pipes with a green leafy residue. Reed was read implied consent and refused to provide a blood sample. Reed was taken into custody on February 29th.

Tammy Williams assaults wife with kitchen knife during argument, caught with crack cocaine

53-year-old Tammy Williams was involved in a domestic altercation with her wife, Karen Latham, at the Turtle Creek Townhomes on January 26th. The couple were in the midst of an argument when Williams armed herself with a kitchen knife and held it to Latham’s throat. When officers searched Williams’s person, they located a bag containing what looked to be a white rock and a plastic pipe wrapped with wire. The white rock substance tested positive for Crack Cocaine. Tammy Williams was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault, simple possession or casual exchange, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Rafael Padilla-Albina caught driving with expired tags, suspended license, and Marijuana

28-year-old Rafael Ernesto Padilla-Albina was driving on Alfred Thun Road with expired tags on November 28th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and asked Padilla-Albina for his driving credentials, but he only handed them his Kentucky ID, which came back as suspended for failing to answer a court summons in November 2021. A search of his vehicle yielded a small marijuana blunt, a Taurus 22mm handgun, a scale, a Ziplock bag containing smaller baggies, and three small jars containing marijuana. Padilla-Albina was taken into custody for simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, not having a driver’s license, not having proof of insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Treyvon Johnson resists arrest, punches police officer in face

28-year-old Treyvon Johnson was jailed on November 28th after police pulled him over on College Street for having illegal tint. Police confirmed the 4% tint with the tint meter. Johnson was in the driver’s seat, appearing agitated and making furtive movements. Police asked him to exit the vehicle multiple times, and when he did, they smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car.

Johnson got back in the vehicle, so officers had to remove him and place him in cuffs. He then resisted by pulling away until he had to be taken to the ground, where he punched an officer in the face. After a brief struggle, he was eventually placed into custody. A search yielded a plastic bag of marijuana in his pocket, and he was transported to booking. A check through NCIC revealed Johnson had a warrant out for his arrest for driving on a suspended license.
