44-year-old Jose Mendez, an employee of El Toro, was caught driving under the influence in a tan Mazda CX5 at a DUI checkpoint on Dover Road on April 26th. When officers made contact, they could smell marijuana coming from Mendez’s vehicle. Mendez admitted to smoking before he started driving. This led officers to ask Mendez to execute field sobriety tests. Mendez consented to the sobriety tests but ended up performing poorly. Jose Mendez was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence on April 27th.
Jose Ramon Zamarron Mendez of Harry Drive in Woodlawn, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 27th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000.
