32-year-old Jonathan Love, of the 5th Special Forces Group, 3rd Battalion, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail just before 1 a.m. Wednesday after CPD Officer David Hauser noticed Love’s Jetta swerving between lanes on Fort Campbell Blvd. During a traffic stop, Love was found to have lethargic speech, glossy watery eyes, and the smell of alcohol coming from his breath. He admitted to drinking “4-5 shots of vodka” prior to driving. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests he was transported to booking.
Jonathan Edward Love, of Foxfield Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 11th, charged with driving under the influence (DUI). He is free on a $2,500 cash bond. Love is a member of the 5th Special Forces Group, 3rd Battalion, at Fort Campbell, KY.

Why is it necessary to tell everybody he’s in 5th group? That’s completely unnecessary. Do you realize the damage that can do to both the unit and the individual? What affiliations do the other individuals you wrote about have? Why single Love out? Do you get extra credit for shoveling out some dirt on 5th group soldiers? The fact that he is affiliated with 5th group should be removed from the article.
