43-year-old Vertonza Skelton was jailed this week after officers recognized him coming out of an apartment and knew him to have an outstanding warrant for evading arrest and driving without a license back on May 11th when he fled from a traffic stop. When officers attempted to stop him on June 4th, he once again fled, but was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
Vertonza Jamoza Skelton, of College St in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on June 3rd, charged with two counts of evading arrest, and driving without a license.
