22-year-old Katera Stokes says she found a “love note” in the notebook of her boyfriend, Curtis Wade. She became so outraged she told him to gather his things and leave. As he was doing so, they reportedly were shoving each other, and after a few back-and-forth pushes, Katera punched Curtis in the face. Curtis denies there was ever any pushing back and forth and that she suddenly punched him as he was gathering his belonging. Police documented a swollen lip and an abrasion on Curtis.
Katera M. Stokes of Beech St in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 18th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $250.
