Police say 26-year-old Candace Marie Quarles was having an argument with her girlfriend, Shaylin Navarro, about their relationship on New Year’s Eve. The verbal disagreement escalated when Candace reportedly threw a cell phone at Shaylin and pushed her in the chest. Shaylin says Candace then slapped her in the face twice. Shaylin suffered a black eye, a busted lip, and several abrasions to the side of her head. Officer took Candace into custody, charging her with domestic assault.
Candace Marie Quarles of Thornton Circle Rd in Oak Grove, KY, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on December 31st, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,000.
