26-year-old William Nicholas Ragland, son of Clarksville attorney Joel Ragland, was found standing beside his friend, who was on the ground overdosing in the roadway, when deputies responded to their location on January 8. During the investigation, it was discovered Ragland had a small amount of methamphetamine and .9 grams of Heroin in his possession.
William Nicholas Ragland of Sango Rd in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on January 8th, charged with possession of a schedule I drug with intent to sell. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
