21-year-old Brian Evans was charged with domestic assault on May 28th, after Clarksville Police say he threw a can of beer toward where his wife of one year, Alexandra Evans, was sitting, splashing beer on her face, glasses, and dress. Evans told police she felt assaulted by these actions. Court records say the argument was about Brian wanting to end the marriage as he was seeing someone else.

Tanesha Holden charged with putting roommate in a chokehold over electric bill
25-year-old Tanesha Holden is charged with the domestic assault of her roommate, Jaquala Cross. Police say the two were in an argument about the electric bill at their shared apartment and Cross came downstairs to discuss the issue. Once downstairs, she says Holden reached out and placed her in a single-hand chokehold, leaving a small abrasion on the right side of her neck from her fingernails.

The City of Clarksville and distinct City leaders are working alongside various organizations and independently to assist those affected by the recent tornadoes and powerful storms that swept across six states the night of Dec. 10.
