Correal Murry charged with assaulting girlfriend with Xbox controllers

Amber Travis says she became upset with her 24-year-old boyfriend, Correal Murry, about him smoking in the house on February 13. She says she threw an ink pen at him when he refused to stop smoking. Correal then reportedly threw an Xbox controller at his girlfriend and then picked up a second controller and used it to beat her in the head multiple times. She says she retreated to the bathroom to call 911 while he attempted to break into the room. He fled before officers arrived and was taken into custody a short time later.

Ruth Miller charged with 4 p.m. DUI, blows 0.174% BAC on breathalyzer

57-year-old Ruth Ann Miller told police, “I wouldn’t pass either one” when she was asked to submit to a blood or breath test after being stopped for DUI on January 2. Officer Cody Hall says Miller was weaving near Providence Blvd & Oak Street just before 4 p.m. Sher performed poorly on field sobriety tests and eventually blew a 0.174% BAC on a breathalyzer.
