Jeremy says he was in an argument with his girlfriend, 32-year-old Stephany Benton Rodriguez, and he asked her to leave his Grassmire Drive residence. He says she began to throw things and eventually pushed him, injuring his knee. Officers arrived at the location and observed a small injury and bleeding on the victim’s knee, and he stated his hand was hurting. Rodriguez claimed the argument was verbal and nothing physical occurred. Due to the victim’s injury, she was placed into custody and charged with domestic assault.
41-year-old Fort Campbell E-7 Soldier Carl Shawn Disney was stopped for his erratic driving just after lunch on Sunday. An officer made contact with Mr. Disney, who claimed he had “four drinks, four hours ago.” After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, it was determined Disney was driving while intoxicated. A search of his vehicle revealed a handgun in his possession while intoxicated, and he would later blow a 0.171% BAC on a breathalyzer — more than double the legal limit.
