25-year-old David Allan Romero had a domestic altercation with his mom, Norma Morales, at their Cambridge Square apartment on Memorial Drive late March 23rd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Morales, who stated she had a verbal dispute with Romero over their dog. She said during the argument, he started yelling profanities while advancing toward her, placing her in fear, so she grabbed a chair to defend herself. She said she then gave him space, left the living room, went to the bedroom, and told her daughter to call the police. When officers spoke with Romero, he corroborated her statements, adding that he began “losing it” and does not remember what he yelled at her before she picked up the chair. Romero was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Antwaun Jones throws vase during argument with mother
43-year-old Antwaun Jones was involved in a domestic dispute with Casondra Nelson at their shared Ashford Place apartment on February 25th. When officers made contact with Nelson, she told them that Jones had been yelling and cussing at her all day. Jones’s aggression led to him shattering her red vase on the floor. He then said something about her being next, which placed Nelson in fear for her safety. Antwaun Jones was taken into custody and charged with vandalism.
DUI: Danelle Dameron drinks before crashing motorcycle
30-year-old Danelle Dameron, an employee of Billy’s Bar and Grill, was found in a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Fort Campbell and Dover on December 12th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Dameron. She was unable to walk in a straight line. When asked if she had anything to drink, Dameron responded, “No.” Dameron then consented to perform field sobriety tests, which she performed poorly on. She also consented to get blood drawn at Tennova Main for medical clearance. It was revealed via a search through the National Crime Information Center that Dameron had a prior DUI conviction in November 2020. Dameron was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.
Kenya Knox threatens boyfriend bathing his child with knife
24-year-old Kenya Knox was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend at Memorial Drive on December 9th. The fight started when Knox entered the bathroom where her boyfriend was bathing his son and stood over him arguing with him. That was when he called Knox a “Demon,” and she kicked him. After she kicked him, he stood up and questioned why she would do that, but that only led her to get physical again. Knox then went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife, so he locked himself in the bathroom. She attempted to enter the bathroom by using the knife to unlock the door but couldn’t, so she made him believe that she was going into the living room to destroy his PlayStation console. He left the bathroom to see she still had the knife in her hand, so he attempted to disarm her by wrestling the knife out of her hand. He was able to grab the knife, put it back into the kitchen, and call 911. Knox was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Beverly Blanton charged after breaking boyfriend’s iPhone
42-year-old Beverly Blanton was involved in a domestic disagreement with her boyfriend, Adam Dalton, at their house on Memorial Drive on October 25. Dalton advised deputies that while sitting on the couch in the living room, Blanton began yelling at him and became upset because he was ignoring her. Then he stated that Blanton snatched his iPhone out of his hand and walked outside before making an “angry face” and throwing it onto the pavement. Dalton recovered his damaged phone and left for Madison Street to use a telephone to contact deputies. Blanton was taken into custody for vandalism.
