When officers asked about Ali’s arm, he told them that his arm was hurt and swollen but made no more complaints about his arm.
On June 8th, Ali contacted officers concerning filing charges against someone who had broken his arm. Ali claimed that his girlfriend had pushed him down the stairs, resulting in his arm breaking. Ali also claimed that he initially contacted officers regarding a domestic assault, but they did not take him seriously. Ali then says officers did not investigate the domestic assault but instead investigated his vehicle damage. Ali stated this resulted in him being arrested.
